Ladies and Gentlemen, I hate to say it, but the attempts to repair the current databases failed, and as a result, several things stopped functioning.

In order to repair the damage that I inadvertantly caused (the path to Hell is paved with good intentions - or so they say), I've thrown us all back in time one week.

This means that whatever password you were using prior to this whole "us being hacked" fiasco is what you'll need to use to log in -- once logged in, I STRONGLY urge you to change password again because let us not forget - we were hacked and have suffered dearly from it.

All of this said, I apologize for all content that was lost as result of going back in time, but I hope you can understand that it was either sacrifice a week or sacrifice the forums.

In light of this, we will have to keep James away from the Admin Panel. If you EVER look at his profile and his current activity is "Admin Control Panel", report it to me IMMEDIATELY.

Actually... Wait... There is hope!

Any users who are upset at the loss of their threads can contact me and I will PM the lost thread back to them, as un-usable copies (backups which have been rejected by the database) are on my computer.

You got off lightly - I was considering replacing you with a monkey trained to take database backups.

Taking the backups is easy -- implementing SHOULD be easy but because my access had to be carried out in an undisclosed way, everything was over complicated. If I'd have simply been able to connect my SQLyog to dedi-servers's database then all would have been well. Exceptionally well!

So I blame software which for security reasons shall not be named.

You should take more of an interest in things that directly affect you emotional well-being. Where would you be without Infohub - ask yourself that. What would you do if you didn't have some place to publicly degrade Tom? You'd have to settle with talking about him behind his back - and really - what's the fun in that?
