Yep, it's a total rip, and the developer is a complete jackass about it. Don't know if you've ever read his FAQ but he is the most arrogant human being I've ever come across.

To be fair, Minecraft heavily borrowed from "Infiniminer". The thing that Minecraft did differently than Infiniminer (other than making the aspects that it blatantly copied much better) was make the focus of the game on.... nothing, rather than collecting X amount of Y for team A before team B collects X amount of Y and beats team A.

Terraria is focused heavily on combat, and building is limited... I don't know... the developer may be an asshole, and it might not be as good as Minecraft but... you know... GOOD GOD. Minecraft fans need to LAY OFF Terraria and start attacking Fortress Craft and the Kinnect version of Minecraft like you're supposed to!

So I've been playing this for a little while now. (Thank you Tom.) I enjoy it a lot, it's a great way to dabble away the hours without even realizing how much time has passed. I'm looking forward to the day when I too get to wear rocket boots.
