So. I've been taking the MCAs at school recently, and I usually finish much earlier than my peers. Since I finish so much earlier I usually have upwards of an hour to simply sit at muh super-blocked school computer without any form of entertainment (they won't let me bring a ········ing book with me into the testing dungeons).
Naturally, I plan to do what everyone else is doing... FLASH DRIVE, ··········.
However, the school seems to have blocked DxDiag, so I have no idea what these computers are capable of runnin'. Is there a way around this? HOW CAN I HAZ DXDIAG?! Y FOR NAWT ALREADY HAZ?
Well, as an indirect answer to your question, if Minnesota high school computers are comparable to Maryland ones, you can get Halo, UT2004, and low running games like Minecraft and Transport Tycoon through the blockages. Halo loves school LANs, and we would usually have school vs school games over the public school network.

Or just do it the old fashioned way...
Right click on "My computer" select "properties" first page will tell you about the RAM and CPU. Hardware Manager (also available from this properties dialog) will tell you everything else.
No "my computer" ? Windows Key + E will open the My Computer Dialog. Just right click out in the middle of nowhere for Properties access.

Thanks, I'll check the computers on Monday.
AND NOW, FOR A FOLLOWUP QUESTION
What are your favorite games that the average public school computer is capable of running?

If you turn off all the unneccesary graphics options, Toribash would probably run pretty well.
If you want to make an animation, Pivot works fine on pretty much any level of machine...
