It's been our objective here at Infohub.Me to increase our "Web Presence" for some time now. Why? Because new members bring new content, and new content brings new members. It's a particularly vicious cycle for us, because we've been relying on our content to bring in members, the majority of whom, have not yet contributed any content back to the site (beyond help requests in tutorials and such).
But I've recently had a bit of an epiphany... Don't worry about getting members who contribute, simply increase your web presence so that the people who want to contribute to a good forum site will have an easier time finding you. The best way for us to go about doing this is with a "Member Drive".
So here's how it works... Most of you have heard the term "Pyramid Scheme" at least once in your life by now. Usually Pyramid schemes are scams which only really work to benefit those who start them, and often end up costing the people further down the pyramid either a myriad of time and/or money. But despite their tendency to be used for evil - pyramid schemes are usually quiet successful: Which is why I want to apply the basic Pyramid Scheme Mathematics for a good purpose which will rip off no one.
That Pyramid Structure works on the "Each of Whom" concept, which is a simple way of describing what's known as a snow ball effect. To help you understand the "Each of Whom" concept, imagine for a second that you got 10 of your friends to join us here on infohub. Each of whom then gets 10 of their friends to join us... We're only 2 levels into this hypothetical and we've already brought in 110 members!
Here's a quick outline of how quickly this site could grow with VERY little effort from its members:

This is quiet clearly our best hope of advertising. Why? Because now, instead of me trying to reach out to (for example) over 1 million different people on a one-on-one basis and convince them to join with us - each of us are only responsible for bringing in a mere 10 people.
So the question you should, by now, be asking yourself is "What's in it for me?" -- How about 2 Free Years of Donator Status, Access to special areas and features of the site, expanded benefits (such as large album sizes, etc, etc), and your very own @infohub.me email address? If that's not enough - our active senior members (which even our newest members would be after an inflow of a few thousand newbies, lol), will receive top consideration for moderator positions as the need develops. (More people = More content. More Content = More potential need for moderation.)
So, with that said, let me quickly run through how to use this referral system:
1) Create (if you haven't already) your own Infohub.Me account.
2) Share us with your friends (on facebook, twitter, etc) and get 10 of them to register accounts.
3) IMPORTANT: When your friends are registering their accounts, make sure they put your Infohub.Me Screen name in the "Referrer" field under "Additional Information".

4) Once you have 10 more friends join with us, send me a private message letting me know - I'll double check the referral system and unlock all of your well earned bonuses.
Anyone who can help in this effort will, for what it's worth, not only receive the rewards outlined above, but should be able to take some level of pride in knowing that they're helping build up a great community. If you're not overwhelming sentimental, then stick with the rewards I guess - but if you rather like the idea of laying a brick that may one day be part of a large library (metaphorical gold, right there :D), then hopefully the sentiment might mean something to you, lol.
