I don't know if any of you have seen the news lately, but it seems as though almost a hundred thousand secret military documents have been leaked onto the internet. These documents include incidents and military operations that were supposed to be held classified indefinetly and they pertain to the war in afganistan. Special ops unit Task Force 373, an operative unit working from a capture/kill list of about 70 top insurgent commanders. These operations have a notable success rate, but have resulted also in an unacceptable civilian casualty rate. If anyone on this site has any way to find these records and a way to keep them "Untracable", i would like to see them on a different website like yahoo or skype to keep this site untainted. I think everyone should know these things.
....Just go to Wikileaks and look at them?

As for keeping them untraceable -- honestly there's not much you have to worry about in that department... I mean, think about it this way, something like this spreads like wild fire when it hits the internet. So the government is not going to be able to invest the time in hunting down potentially millions of individuals on the grounds that they have a PDF file they're not supposed to have, and have likely already read. Sites, however, could get into some trouble for hosting them, but all in all, I don't think you have anything to worry about.

Wikileaks have purposely offered a download of every single file. So by now thousands of people will of downloaded all of them.
On another note about wikileaks. I tried to download a file about Microsoft and what information they kept on you and it did not download hmmm and yet all the other files did. And i was using windows.
Excuse for the U.S government to start arbitrarily monitoring and actively controlling individual internet usage. Just you wait - by the end of the year, Obama, the "saviour of mankind," will have put forward a bill to further infringe upon your civil liberties.
And it will pass, because he'll sell them the opposite side of the story, as he always does. He won't say a word about what the bill actually does, he'll just tell everyone that sites like Wikileaks are a serious threat to U.S national security and leaks like this could compromise the mission in Afghanistan. Then you'll get the "if you're a true American, and a patriot, you'll do whatever it takes to support your troops" card pulled out, and bang goes your internet usage.
See you on the dark side, brothers.

"Bang goes your internet usage" ??? First and foremost, the majority of Americans already don't support this war so the patriotism card isn't going to pull much weight in a time when most people hate their government.
What's more, with America's (especially my own generation's) dependency on the internet and all of our portable "The Universe Revolves Around You" devices -- there would be complete and utter anarchy if large scale government censorship were affect the rights of Americans to access otherwise lawful areas of the internet.
If any bill were to be passed, I would suspect that it would likely be something to the affect of tightening security around any/all documents, or embedding the code of our digital copies (PDFs and such) with an encrypted serial so we can tell who leaked them. The term "leaked" is a very accurate term, because just like a pipe in your basement which may burst, once it's gone there is no way to control where the water will spread. You can attempt a clean up as best you wish, but once it's out, it's out. But, like that water leak, with proper care and precaution, the majority of leaks could be prevented -- and I suspect that is the direction that a bill would be drafted towards (something which reworks the government's handling of such documents, as opposed to our rights online).

Well, my idea is that, i'm very sure our government along with most other governments in the world keep things from their citizens, mainly for their protection and to maintain sufficient control. And the world system will fall shortly, so, i'm just watching all the fun from my beach chair, sipping a virgin margarita with a green and purple umbrella. Virgin because i had already stuffed the booze with gasoline soaked rags and are sitting behind me just waiting to be chunked.
Lol, Hoopa's idea is too Bushist. Black Jesus wouldn't do such a thing.
Mike, I got your map, and I saw the Transport Secretary walking out of Downing Street, which I waited outside for an hour. Unfortunately I got these in the wrong order so I didn't have the map when I saw him so I will try again tomorrow. Politician spotting is my new hobby.

Politician Spotting gets easier as you track more and more infamous politicians, because the media does all the work for you.
