I've added a prefix for threads, this is the [NSFW] prefix (not safe for work) which you should add to your thread when it contains content you think may raise questions if opened in a public place, especially at work or school where readers could get in trouble.

You can add this prefix to your thread by opening the drop-down list next to the thread title.

As always, if you would like to suggest a new thread prefix, please feel free :D

Kudos.

BUT WAIT!

What if someone sees you browsing the list of threads, and they just so happen to see a title with the tag [NSFW] stuck on it? Would that alone arouse suspicion? Would they be thinking to themselves, "What is this person doing, browsing a forum with not-safe-for-work material on it? It must be for non-educational/non-productive purposes! BANNED."

Because people can think in colors.

I propose having a lesser-known code name for NSFW material. Like, uhh...

[RED]
[NURB]
[TOM]
[HALP]
[randomletterstothrowpeopleoff]
[something]... Yeah, I got nothin'. :(

BUT WAIT, THERE'S MORE!

What happens in the case that an innocent forum browser sees a thread with said seemingly harmless code name tag on it, but doesn't know its true meaning? Out of curiosity, they'll click it, and OH NO, it's [shrimp]! Oops! And someone else was watching his/her screen at that very moment! Double oops! BANNED.

Congratulations! Your reading skill has decreased by 10 points! Thank you for letting me waste your time. :)

Yeah, never mind all this right here^. I don't even have to worry about it because I don't get Internet access at my workplace! :D...

D:

Oh, it appears that my boredom has been cured! Huzzah! But anyway, good thinking with the tags! It's nice to have a warning of what horrid beasts may be lurking within the threads! Unfortunately, (read: fortunately) I have no suggestions for new thread prefixes. Well, shucks. Maybe another day. :P
