Story of your Screen Name

I was just wondering how everyone decided on their different screen names to use online.For me...

Boxofit- "Is that repect or what?" "A whole box of it!" Old, and slightly eaten cookie to whoever names that reference.

Davy-I figured my middle name is good that way people know who I am, note, more people know my middle than first since it's what everyone who knows me calls me.

Pahn37-I liked the character Pahn from Suikoden I, the 37 was just the first two numbers I put after it.

Tsucasta-Not a .hack reference like most think. When i was registering for Runescape the name Tsupasta was already taken so I just went with Tsucasta.

Captain Obvious - My Yahoo answers name, I always answer questions in completely obvious manners. Such as when people ask what's wrong with their computer, I will respond, "It's Broke."

Woogers - My littlest sister's old nickname. Origin: Unknown
Mike - Mike (duh)
Yotsubox - The coolest mannerism on Earth
Kamineko - The most gangsta feline on Earth
those are the only screen names that come to mind.

Vicious/Vicious88 - Not a cowboy bebop reffrence, but a nickname I earned while serving as bouncer for many yahoo chat rooms back in the booter days of '03. The 88 is my birth year.

James - My first name. Quiet simple, really. I have an EXTREMELY common name, so I'm not worried about people saying "I wonder if that's the James I know"...

Vicious St. James - My Pen Name used for online articles, signatures, forms, and publications.

Ihatepeoplewhotakemyscreenname - My newest screen name to which I'm forced to use when Vicious and Vicious88 have both been registered with a site or service... Such as Skype :P

Lucien - an old elven cleric character I had back when I played D&D, kinda stuck with me
Lucienec_79 - again, Lucien (explained above), ec - my first and last initials, 79 - year of birth
CrimsonTears - name suggested by a friend of a friend that I kinda liked
Lili - nickname given to me by a once close friend

J.L Hunter- My writing name... first came along when I worked at Wal-mart as a sales associate, the sign on name for the SMART system and the TelZon where I managed the stores assets/ clearance items/ and modulars. The name was JLHunte because it only allow seven characters. First & middle initials and my last name. It is what i sign all of my stories i send in for publication, will one day be the name I have on the cover of my books.


Darxka Skies- Alias, a submissive but disgruntled Ukranian poet and guitarist who lives alone in the northern part of the Ukraine away from civilization. Noted for his views on politics, Religion, and Philosophy. A Psuedonym I created in 2005 for my use online because i wanted few people to know who i really was. The temperment of this character comes from my descision to quit high school, and is alot cooler than i really am.

ArthurDent - When I first decided to change my screen name to a character from HHG on TornCity.com the name "Ford Prefect" was already taken by Tom/Rob/Ford, and "ZaphodBeeblebrox" didn't fit. The name just sorta' stuck.

CountChocula - Most cereals choose a nice, lovable mascot, like a toucan or a frog or an Irish midget.... COUNT CHOCULA IS A ****ING VAMPIRE. And in a world where vampires are growing more and more wimpy by the day, CountChocula remains amongst the old-style, bad-······ vampires that I grew up with and love.

A Guy Man Dude - I am a guy, a man AND a dude.

StonedEwok - This was a name I thought of while my neighbor and I were having a very intelligent conversation about what different Star Wars characters would be like stoned. Wonderful. I know. (Imagine for a moment Jar-Jar on LSD....)

PolarTheBiBear - Without a doubt my most clever screen name. Polar bear. Bi polar. Bi sexual. Everything just works... I'm very proud of this screen name...
