I have adopted Linux for non-gaming and non-productivity activities (internets). Thoughts?

Thoughts:
1)Huh. Linux.
2)I know a guy who knows Linux rather decently...
3)I should send him an invite.
4)Hmmm...
5)I wonder what ever happened to the original host of The Twilight Zone...
6)That newest episode of family guy seemed really out of place. I mean seriously, who needs serious-toned character development in an animated sitcom that's not actively trying to address real world issues with ever episode.
7)I think I'm listing off too many thoughts.
1) Yes.
2) It's easy but not as easy as Windows.
3) Lol
4) DARTH CAMERON HAS TAKEN OVER BRITAIN AND ANNOUNCED THE FIRST GALACTIC EMPIRE! RUN!
5) Wat
6) Family Guy is stupid.
7) Always nice to hear someone else's thoughts.

I dual boot Ubuntu linux and Windows 7.
Dual-Booting isn't an option for me, as I live in a house of computer-illiterates and Facebook-only users.

I have the same issue. Steam is coming to linux soon they have confirmed. Which will be a nice improvement on gaming on linux.
In my opinion, that's not an improvement.

I have to agree with Mike. That's not an improvement. Steam is the bane of video games.

Explain your reasons?

Horrendous Customer Support.
That, and offline mode failures, Stalinist game launch practices, unoptimized program, and slow. SLOW. SLOOOOOOOW.

Yeah.
All of that.
I hate steam.
I hate linux.
I hate everything.
AND WHY ISN'T THIS POST IN ALL CAPS????? WHO TURNED ON THE CAPS LOCK FILTER? GRAAAAAA!
There is only one solution for this problem, which I know Dr. Tom R. Hooper PhD MP ATOGS would never take seriously, unless it were truly dire straits: AN HERO.
