Listen up PS3 owners! I play GTA IV and I'm looking for someone who can play in some private multiplayer sessions with me. Qualifications include:

Must own GTA IV, obviously.
Must have bluetooth headset or some other way of communicating via voice.
Must not mind PSN ID being shown in video.
It would be helpful if you had some rather good driver/boating/piloting skills - however not required.

That's for the project I want to work on, which I'll explain more over the PSN.

If you're just looking to play some PS3 with me, that's cool. I always love the challenge of going head to head with another good sniper.

My PSN ID is Vicious-Infohub for anyone who's interested.

Sorry, but i'm a microsoft guy.

Although many Xboxs have a bad case of the gremlins, i think that the game choice, online play, and downloadable content is much better.

Understand that it is not my intention to spark off fan-boy wars, so please keep comments like that to a minimal (by which I mean, stating console-related opinions are not directly asked for the original poster severely irritates me). Going further on this note, console favoritism brings about failure in life and an eternal damnation of one's soul. Because God owns ALL the systems.

God, Powers that Be, the All Mighty Atheismo, The Flying Speghitti Monster, Vicious88 -- who ever you worship or believe -- know that in their spirit, they own every console.

Well...once every few weeks I usually have access to all of that equipment. It really doesn't help you though because it's your stuff.

I can fix RRoD on the 360s. Part of how I make a living is console repair. You guys would be proud of the cheesy flier I designed and had Rita print up for me, lol. It's got most every console known to man on it.

My friend and I spent a weekend fixing up my 360 last time it got the red ring, but alas, we attempted to do so again and failed...

And i'm not even going to bother going to the local 360 repair shop, because the guy charges for the work even when he doesn't fix the damn thing.

( luckily i can sell my red ringed 360 to a different local shop for 90 bucks. )

Meh -- put the $90 towards a PS3 and I'll mail you a bluetooth headset, lol.

My PSN is Scavar. I own a Bluetooth headset. I own GTAIV. I'm good at driving and boating, not at flying.

:D

Hey, awesome. I'll message you over the PSN with a brief overview of what I'm looking to do for the project -- maybe play a game or two to get a feel for your abilities, and take it from there.

I'll most likely put all of this off untill tomorrow though - as it's a shade too late tonight.

Well might have to put in on hold longer than that, sense apparently my PS3 is broken? Was fine last night, I tried turning it on today and it just hangs on the wavy line intro dealie.

I've messed around a bit with it, but no clue what the hell is up with it.

Typically, I'd offer to take a look at it for you and see if I can't fix the problem -- but seeing as you live in Fort Lauderdale, as far away as you can from me and still be in the same state, yeah... That won't happen...

If you can't get it to work, the thing that I would suggest is unhooking power and video, removing the harddrive, re-insterting the harddrive, and rebooting the system. I've seen this fix some PS3 issues, but note that under certain conditions this may cause you to loose save game files.

And I should have the new slim PS3 soon (soon < 3 weeks, depending on the U.S. Department of Education)

I already have a PSN ID, which I use for mah PSP (woogersftw)
