View Full Version : Request
Hello,
I'd like someone to try their hand at this.
I read on Wikipedia that most Moonshine in America was produced in Mason jars, so I figured a good logo would be a stylised mason jar 3/4 full of Moonshine!
I'd like a logo designed for a game, with this in mind.
Requirements:
300x300 PNG Image with transparent background
Clear-Cut Vector-ey stylised theme
Tilted oblongish jar, 3/4 full of mostly clear liquid
Light decoration around the outside acceptable
Writing on jar not required
Must say "Moonshine" somewhere on the image

I'm having a problem meeting your request.
Glass is a VERY hard substance to get fully transparent outside of Photoshop -- it'll always have a tint of the original background image to it. However - if you know what color you'll be using as a background, I can easily set that as the background image color.
I'll illustrate this point here...
This jar that I've made below, can be put over ANY background in photoshop and it look perfect -- however, as you can see here, when it's exported to PNG, the Multiply affect (needed for this level of true transparency), no longer works.

This image however, can be set to use the same color as the background of the post, and it LOOKS like it's transparent backed.

This affect works with all possible background colors and images, as well, except for SOLID BLACK.

I'm limited to 4 pictures per post (because I haven't fixed it yet), but here's another one.

I was thinking something like this:

It kind of looks to me like you've got something kind of good already, lol...
Based on the description in your request, I feel I did rather well -- however, if you would like to be more descriptive -- for example, what you would like to see different from the image you've provided... Then I can try and work something out.
