I just had a really weird dream...

I'm writing this down so I don't forget it...

I was running through a big forest, but it wasn't like I was running from something, or to anything really - just sort of running. But as I ran I heard these weird noises, and everything flashed white for a second before returning to normal. It was almost as though I was watching all of this on television, but there was another signal comming in in spurts.

I made it through the trees and came upon a huge crystal-clear lake. It was beautiful and very very big. I could see some mountains on the other side, and some deer who hadn't seemed to notice me come out of the woods drinking for the lake about a mile away on the other side.

But even as I observed the stillness of the lake and how clear it was, I kept hearing these sudden pops and hisses and everything would flash white or grey and then come back to normal.

I was looking at the lake, which was so still and so clear that if it weren't for the faint ripples on top I could have easily not noticed it was there at all.

But then... About the time that some fish flying through the clear lake waters caught my eye - I heard a final "phfftzz" and everything melted away like film might if jammed over an old projector, and I found myself looking at a middle aged man in a white coat. He was looking straight at me, but didn't seem to know that I was there. He had a sense of urgency on his face that was rather frightening.

He sat in his chair, looking at me, almost nose to nose, when suddenly a voice from behind me (a woman's voice) said, "I think it might be working." I tried to turn around to look at her, but I was frozen, as though watching the whole thing on some sort of screen where the only things that were visible was what was directly infront of me.

He sat in silence for a moment, looking petrified, then he cleared his throat and said, "I don't know if this is working or not, but all other communications have been severed. Please pay attention as we are on our backup generator, and will only have the power to do this once. You need to inform the USSRI that experiment 14 has been compramised. Several people have already died, more are dieing just outside these doors. All of our systems are down, we have no other hopes for communication. You must act quickly or the consiquences could be dire!"

He then said something that I'm having a hard time remembering, but I think it wasn't intended for me. It was probably meant for the woman I couldn't see, but it seemed important at the time.

The he began talking to me again, "Please, Hurry, and Don't Forget -- USSRI, Experiement 14 -- SEND HELP!"

And then with another quick "phfftzz" I was back beside the lake, looking at the fish in the water as though my dream had waited for me, but before I could move towards the lake, I heard a loud pop that rolled across the lake and mountains like thunder and suddenly I was awake.

So I decided to write all of this down... I can't find anything on the USSRI through google or Acronym finder... But yeah...

I'm glad I'm writing all of this because I can't remember many of the details even now... And with the way dreams go, I'll likely have forgotten entirely by tomorrow morning.

Anyway... Weird dream. I'm tired. I'm going back to bed. 'Night.

You haven't tried the Lucid Dream dose have you?

No I've not tred the Lucid Dream dose for a few important reasons: 1) The doses don't work on me, if you'll remember. 2) I don't think my headphones would allow them to even if they did - because mine only go down to 8Hz (which was quite an achievement considering the next lowest I could find was 20), and most doses are rocking somewhere around 5Hz. 3) I can usually put myself into a state of lucid dreaming if I focus a good intent on it when I lay down and go to sleep. Granted it's been a good two years since I played with Lucid Dreaming, because I found it underfulfilling but a neat concept all the same.

I really wish i didn't read that. I'm kinda' creeped out now.

And that sounded alot like a Stanley Kubrick movie...

Yep...I gotta say that dream would have made me a little paranoid. I really don't need anything else to be paranoid about. If it turns out to be important to your future though, you can always borrow some of my luck in order to find out more about it.
