Like the title of the thread says, I'm going to take the server down for a little while so I can set up a computer as a dedicated server. Hopefully this will improve the overall server speed as well as allow my computer to run faster due to not hosting the server from the computer I'm using. Depending on how complicated this proves it may take upwards of a day to straighten everything out, and get Corneria back online.

Alright. I have the server back up on my local network, but that alone means nothing, I need someone to try and log in, and then tell me here if they succeeded or not.

Nevermind. I thought I had it up, but it's still pretty down. I'll be working on it, and have it up as soon as possible.

Okay...NOW it is good to go on my local network, and I need someone to try and log in, and tell me if they managed to log in or not.

It seems to be working just fine for me (unless you left the core up on the old server and that's what I'm logging in to).

For now the core is up on my hp, but as soon as I can get the core to run on the new dell, I'll be switching over. For now though, everyone can log in. at least they should be able to.

The server is up, and everyone should be able to log in and play whenever they want. We'll have the new server up and running as soon as I figure out how to transfer everyone's characters. The new server will be pretty awesome since it fixes a bunch of errors the current server has such as occasionally running into vicious monsters that can attack you, but cannot be targeted in return.

Eh, If only I could play World of Warcraft. Or any game, for that matter.

A really heavy lightning storm has set in, so I'm taking the server down until it's moved on. I know it's inconvenient, but it's much better than the server machine being fried.

Well, it's still raining a lot, but the lightning has stopped so I have gotten the server back up, feel free to log in and play whenever you want, unless the rain knocks out my internet again.

Well, I may be losing electricity for about a week since we don't have enough money to pay the bill, so if that happens, Corneria will definitely be down until I have the electric turned back on.

Are you back from Louisiana? And if so, welcome back. Furthermore, it is regrettable that you're facing such difficulties. Have you thought about a server donation fund? In the long run, if we get enough players you could use it to upgrade the hardware and stuff.

I am not in Louisianna, and also I wouldn't accept money from other people to keep the server running when I myself haven't put any money into it, that just doesn't seem right to me. If worst comes to worst, and it seems like the server may be down for a long time though, I can transfer the DBs to Vicious, and he'll host the server for a while.
